Copper and silver will both darken as they age.
To keep silver plated or copper jewellery at its best protect it from perfume, body sprays, chlorinated and salt water and other chemicals.
After wearing give your jewellery a gentle polish with a soft cloth and store in a box or bag that excludes air and moisture.
If your jewellery does darken more than you like it can be cleaned with a proprietary metal polish, or a quick search on the internet will find plenty of other ways to clean and polish your jewellery.

This is a speciality wire consisting of a copper core with a substantial outer coating of 99% pure silver, making up 10% of the wire.
Purer than the 92.5% of Sterling Silver and much thicker and longer lasting than the micron thin coating of silver plated wire.
